Bitrate's

I recorded a video today. I have about an hour of footage. I still need to edit this footage. This footage is 36GB in size. I accidentally set the bitrate to 50,000kbps. Yeah, needless to say, this going to be fun trying to clear out my tiny 256GB SSD enough to edit that (my normal 4x speed, plus add some music.)

Just a word of caution, don't set your bitrate too high when recording. I usually have it set to 10,000kbps, but the quality still gets degraded after post processing, so I thought I'd set it higher. Well, now I can't edit it at all anymore. Good job me.

This is the video that took me so long to edit because of this problem:

  2. Yeah, I have that problem... just something you have to deal with the internet. I deal with it by just enabling "Comment author must have a previously approved comment" in settings > discussion. That way I need to approve comments first. I also enable the auto close comments feature as well, so I don't have to deal moderation on older posts. It's still a pain to deal with, but at least you wont have tons of spam.
